Big Dipper & A Squirrel Sketch

                                       The first of my constellation cats: The Big Dipper.

This little sketch was inspired by a walk I took earlier through Castle Park. I happened to wander down a little wooded path and suddenly found myself surrounded by a trio of very friendly squirrels, as well as a whole flock of pigeons, gulls, and various other feathered friends. They must be very used to being around people because they all approached me without fear and clearly had no concept of personal space. I half expected to find myself in a Disney princess situation where the little forest critters would speak and naturally we would all break into song. I'm a little disappointed to say that it didn't happen, but the whole gaggle escorted me for quite a while. A very odd, but welcome encounter!
